Queen Elizabeth NP is one of the best in East Africa for wildlife and it’s unfortunate that the recent turn of events in DRC has made it into a tense experience. Btw, I know you guys use Starlink so what do you think about the “bait and switch” price increase by Elon Must and SpaceX? I get a notification that the prices are going up almost twice starting in August as what I am paying for the times I am roaming and since I am not on a long overland trip, I am thinking of canceling it. I know for you guys currently on the move, it’s quite useful but is the price increase worth it? Personally I think they are exploiting and doing a “bait and switch” on their subscribers. I am going to look for alternatives and there are services that are cheaper and work well in North America like Hughesnet.

So much brilliant animal footage! ❤ That scene with the croc in the water was intense! And while tough, the rhino footage definitely deserves to be shared. Hopefully the future will get better for these beautiful animals. ❤ thanks for taking us along for the journey ✌️

My father made the first dart gun in Zimbabwe in the 60's. He converted a 410 and made the darts to fit. Accompanied Ron Thompson on the first operation to move Rhinos. Through this work numbers grew substantial. Now all that hard work being undone by Chinese expansion in Africa.

My wife and I spent part of our Honeymoon in Uganda in 2009, lovely country, fantastic people. The rafting was outstanding at Jinja, although it’s all moved a bit since they built a dam up river, glad to see there is still rafting as at the time they were all worried the dam would kill it completely.
